Hate Speech Committee is mainly an improv group now, but every once in a while we will get back to our weird sketch routes. And since doing half-ass improv and half-ass sketch isn’t enough, we sometimes decide to do half-ass music. Last night, at The Theme Show, Brendan Kennedy and I took the stage to welcome new(ish) hosts Pat Foy and Steve Swan the same way we welcomed former host Rob Baniewicz, with a rap/pop song mash-up of our own creation. You can listen to the rap part here, and just imagine Brendan singing the chorus to Lionel Richie’s “Hello” during the chorus breaks.
