Aaron Hertzog began his stand-up comedy career in Philadelphia in 2006 after deciding that the best way to turn his dream of being a comedian into a reality would be to start doing comedy. Drawing material from the everyday moments that make him stop and think “what am I doing?” Aaron realizes that while his thoughts may seem normal to him, others often find the way his brain works hilarious.
In addition to stand-up, Aaron is also a humor writer whose work has been featured in multiple publications both regionally and nationally. In the Philadelphia area Aaron's writing has been featured in The Temple News where he was a humor columnist for the university's student newspaper. His columns have also appeared in College Living Magazine and the comedy website ComicVsAudience.com. His writing has also been featured on popular national humor websites CollegeHumor.com and Comedy.com.
In November 2009, Aaron was named one of the 10 Funniest Comedians in Philadelphia by Comedy.com. Aaron is the host of "Hey Everybody!" a monthly stand-up comedy show at the Philly Improv Theater.
